| Poetry is the key to the soul. It makes us think about thinkingy things and appreciate lifey life.
So appreciate our poetic genius.
Courtesy of Myself, Nadia and Alex.
Poetic Genius
I am a tree, A tree in the wind (WHOOSH) I am a tree in the dark I enjoy doing the- applejuice, yum platypuses lay eggs when Angelina Jolie eats ducks.
I grow thorns, out of my head like a watermelon, And I make toothpaste when sucking on oranges. And when I swim, I drown. But not in a pond, not now, because...
Now I am on a trampoline. entering the dark, Om. My eyes, like my elbows A midget in a fireman's costume Tends to lick strawberries Like a bag.
GREEN! The end is near, but it is only 3 o'clock, Santa Clause is coming to town, And great wings of beetlejuice devour squirrels, Behold! crepe paper, transluscent, yellow like the table. My fingernails, look like an old man... with a stick, Baseball! chocolate like - crunchy, I glitter, fairy like ...and leaves, drift serenely in to yellow jelly. Twice.
(END)
Analyse that in a lit lesson in 20 years damnit. And if that wasn't enough. Behold our far superior intellectual minds:
SIMON: A tree falls on a lamma in the woods.
Does it make a sound? Who knows?
The midget knows. So he happily drinks his tea.
NADIA: Dalai puts jam on the toast.
Squealing for peanuts on a roast ham lacrosse team.
With ice.
Simon: Ham and Spam are similar things in spelling and taste.
As are elephants and cheese...Only thats not cheese
Its an ocelot. Or five.
Nadia: That's when lancelot drove his tweezer into the snipet of the large projectile ant.
To find the latent interior of the spoon
Simon: Stalking leads to Duck billed monkeys penetrating badgers with an orange
On a Monday
For fun
Twice
Nadia: Like a bag of wands in a deep dark wood of peas
With han solo carrying...A spoon of hair...
Feeding the webbed Panda cheese sticks, with milk on the side.

| Hello there Im here to tell you a little story (illustrated on joe's site www.xanga.com/eviljoeyoung)
once upon a time there was a band called "We Shot Kennedy', everyone loved We Shot Kennedy and wanted to sex them lots and lots (even Vivian)
One day some nice musicy people said "Hey, We shot kennedy, please come and play at the Rockit festival on Friday the 22nd at 12:30. Tickets for Friday (gates open at 11) can be bought at the gate for $150 for Friday or more for an all weekend pass, which will be worth it because there are alot of good bands playing." and We shot kennedy jumped for joy when they heard this and went "Yippee"
We Shot Kennedy were very excited, and realised that this would be alot of fun. But then they realised, what if no one came to see them and support them at rockit, and this made we shot kennedy very sad. Then they thought, what if everyone got off their arses, and came to see we shot kennedy in their brilliant show. followed by brilliant bands such as the kill bill band - the 5678's or the cooper temple clause. and this made we shot kennedy very happy.
As an afterthought we shot kennedy thought what it would be like to be vaporised. they didnt like this idea much.
The moral of this story is simple. Come see We Shot Kennedy on Friday 12:30. at the Rockit festival. Tickets are $150 at the gate for an all day 11am-11pm pass lots of good bands are playing.
ON A SIDE NOTE: NOW ON SALE! : BUY WE SHOT KENNEDY'S ALBUM - SCIENCE AND MAGIC. $50 FROM ANY BAND MEMBER NOW!!! (please? we have 500)
Much Love Simon | | |
